Robyn Bigué (President, Sir Harry Films Inc) is an award winning Showrunner, Producer and Writer. She lives in Toronto, Canada, with her husband, daughter and Guinness-record holding pup, Jefferson.
Throughout her 20+ years in the industry, Robyn has cultivated a reputation for exacting a thoughtful and ambitious craft and has produced hundreds of hours of unscripted, factual, documentary and lifestyle programming. This diverse lineage has taken her to almost every corner of Canada and the U.S., and as far and wide as Australia, Iceland, Mexico, India, France and China.
Equally comfortable in the field as she is in the edit bay overseeing cuts, or behind a desk crunching numbers or writing scripts, Bigué is a full-service Showrunner whose skills run the gamut. It is for this reason that she enjoys a good relationship with many of Canada’s top Production Companies and Networks, and why she has consistently earned the respect of her peers in a very competitive industry.
In the flourishing Canadian factual world, Bigué has produced and written for many of today’s most iconic shows. 2020 marks her 8th consecutive year as a Senior Producer for the top rated “Amazing Race Canada”, a show for which she has been fortunate to earn five Canadian Screen Awards.
On the features side, Bigué co-produced the Telefilm-backed, theatrically released “Prisoner X”, a sci-fi thriller that won the Critic’s Choice award at Portugal’s Fantasporto festival. She has several other compelling feature projects currently in development.
Under her previous RND shingle, she co-wrote and produced a number of one-of docs, including a behind-the-scenes peek behind the curtain of the highly acclaimed series “Elvis Costello Presents”.
